Curriculum Vitae in English

Tina Christiansen (b. 1984) started playing the organ in 2003 after having played the piano for several years (since 1993). In 2006 she was admitted at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus in the class of Professor Ulrik Spang-Hanssen. In June 2009 Tina completed her Bachelor's Degree with top marks in organ playing. In June 2011 she completed her Master's Degree also with top marks in organ playing. She is now studying in the Soloist Class at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus and at Malmö Academy of Music, Sweden.
Tina has played concerts in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, England, Germany, Austria and Spain.
Tina has participated in competitions both at home and abroad, and she has been awarded in the following competitions: 1st Prize in Southern Danish Talent Competition 2006 and 3rd prize in the fourth Feliks Nowowiejski Organ Competition 2010 in Poland.
In 2011 she was admitted at the final selection in the 12th Marcello Galanti International Organ Competition in Italy.
In 2010 she won the Academy's Soloist Competition and has afterwards been playing concerts as a soloist with The Prince's Music Corps in 2011.
Tina has participated in study tours and master classes in Denmark, Germany, France, England and USA. Master classes at Dame Gillian Weir, Roger Fisher, Nigel Allcoat, Leo van Doeselaar, Paolo Crivellaro, Marie-Louise Langlais, Winfried Bönig, Bjoern Andor Drage, Anders Johnsson, Ullrich Böhme, Hans Fagius, Eric Lebrun and Thomas Trotter.
Tina has received the Memorial Scholarship of Thoeger Rasmussen and the Music Scholarship of Viggo Makwarth and Veronika Makwarth.
Tina has a great interest in chamber music and accompaniment and is active in several contexts. In 2009 she took part in The International Trombone Festival in Denmark where she was playing together with some of the world's leading trombonists.
Tina also plays the harpsichord and has as a continuo player participated in several major oratorios with Aarhus Bach Society and concerts with Odense Symphony Orchestra.
